Resumo


The constitution of BRICS (acronym for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) is one of the main features of globalization in the 21st century. This group of countries from the ‘Global South and East’ gathered collaborative momentum throughout this millennium’s first decade, after Goldman Sachs initially conceived the acronym BRIC (South Africa wasn’t included then) in their identification of promising markets for economic and financial agents.
