A GOVERNANÇA E O TERRITÓRIO: REFLEXÕES SOBRE UMA ABORDAGEM DE PESQUISA

Resumo

This article aims to make an analysis of the governance issue and its territorial connotation, considering the contexts of political, economic and spatial changes occurring in Brazil and in the world since the late 1970s, with the reality of simultaneous processes of political and administrative decentralization and production activities deconcentration/reconcentration, reinforcing the movement for creating a national and global mosaic of regions and clusters in situations of asymmetry about the economic and institutional development. Therefore, our analysis recognizes the need to investigate this issue within the field of analytical possibilities and limitations regarding the arrangements, pacts and coordination structures for the territorial development promotion in the contemporary scenario. It is, in short, the proposal of a interdisciplinary program research in the scope of the humanities and social sciences to assess the territorial dynamic process as economic, social, political, cultural and spatial manifestation of governance in recent regional and local arrangements around of public, private and mixed
development projects.
